Otherwise I would rate this place 10 out of 10.

Super neat and tidy campsite. Hot showers and nice loo block. Only 6 bucks a night. Lotsa wildlife as well. The clouds roll into the campsite for a nice quiet night as well sometimes.

Beat the crowds, and stay the night before. For only approx $6 pp per night, this is very affordable accommodation within Lamington National Park. There was a smorgasbord of wildlife encounters also - countless red-neck pandemelons at dusk, and rosella's and various wrens to join you for breakfast. There is hot water for showering, and many more available campsites (including those a little more secluded) than I'd expected there to be. However, because there are no wood fires allowed, it would be fantastic if Parks staff were able to offer nighttime talks/activities.

Because I tell you what, this would be the last time me, my friends and my family come these ways until changes are made.

People like me leave the noisy cities to getaway for some peace and quite. But I don't seem to find it here either.

I would like to make a suggestion that the manager of such places need to put up bigger signs and at the main entrance especially and perhaps toilet doors, etc. That others should be the more considerate of others and keep the noise level to a minimum.

Great location with wildlife, lots of walks around the area including O’Reillys treetop walk. Good amenities block with hot shower. Campsite in itself is on a hillside and you can’t park your car next to all of the tentsites so select carefully. No open fires allowed but gas is fine. Can use O’Reilly’s free Bbq if needed, only a short walk. Our whole family loved this campsite and the exciting drive up the mountain.

Although if you are looking for a peaceful place to camp, this isn't for you.

People have no consideration for the peace of others. Especially during the evening and night.

Parents also should be more considerate for others and teach there kids to be more respectful for the peace of others.

Very displeased once again. All that needs to be done is a couple of signs stressing campers to keep it cool.

Numbered camping and campervan sites booked through Queensland Parks. Toilets and showers, some groceries items available at Guest House.

A place like this should be a place of down time, and the sound of nature is all you want to hear and not the noise of others being loud.
